The Department of Medical Technology at
Armstrong Atlantic State University invites
applications for a full time (9 month)
academic year position beginning August
1, 2009.
Teaching responsibilities will include lecture
and laboratory components in all areas
to be determined in consultation with
department head and via team teaching
with other faculty. Other duties include
participation in university, professional
and community service activities, student
recruitment, and other academic requirements
as assigned.

| Qualifications: |
The successful candidate must possess a
Master's degree in Medical Technology
from an accredited university; Doctoral
degree is required for tenure track. The
qualified applicant must be certified
as a medical technologist (ASCP or NCA)
with at least tree years of clinical laboratory
experience. Experience in baccalaureate
Medical Technology education preferred;
and a beginning or established record
of scholarship. Excellent communication
skills needed and must possess computer
technology skills (Email, PowerPoint,
etc).

senior unit in the University System of Georgia

It is located approximately twelve miles south
of the historic district of the city of Savannah
