in historic Savannah Georgia, a coastal city
located 250 miles southeast of Atlanta, Georgia
and 150 miles north of Jacksonville, Florida.
Savannah has long been known as a charming
city; rich in beauty, cultural diversity, support
for the arts, and opportunities for recreation.
In the last decade the city has capitalized
on its diverse manufacturing base, flourishing
tourist industry, and thriving port to become
the economic motor for the region. With a metropolitan

six-county population of 471,000, Savannah
