Description:

The College of Liberal Arts at Armstrong Atlantic State University is seeking part time faculty applications for possible fall semester and future needs in day, evening, and/or weekend classes in Savannah and Hinesville. Subjects include: anthropology, criminal justice, digital photography, economics, English composition, French, geography, law and society, music appreciation, philosophy, political science, sociology, speech, theatre appreciation, United States history, and world history.

 
Qualifications:

Minimum requirement is master's degree with 18 semester hours graduate work in the subject taught.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.

 
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
 
The University: Armstrong Atlantic State University is a four-year coeducational senior unit in the University System of Georgia and has an enrollment of more than 6800 students. It is located approximately twelve miles south of the historic district of the city of Savannah on a modern 268 acre campus. The core mission of the university is a strong liberal arts education for all students, and the strategic directions of the university are applied science and technology, teacher education, health professions, and community and economic development.

The university campus is 20 miles from sandy beaches, and only a mile or so from crabbing, shrimping, and saltwater fishing.
